Michael Wilson enters the 2026 fantasy football season as a solid late-round target after a breakout 2025 that included 78 catches, 1,006 yards, and seven touchdowns for Arizona. He’s still with the Cardinals, and recent camp notes suggest he remains a real part of the passing game rather than just a depth piece.

The big selling point is role stability. Reports this summer have pointed to Wilson being used “closer to the core” in a Z-receiver type role, which should keep him on the field and give him a steady route share. Arizona’s offense is also expected to feature him heavily enough that fantasy outlets are projecting something in the neighborhood of WR3/WR4 production, with targets likely landing in the 110-120 range.

The concern is ceiling rather than floor. When Marvin Harrison Jr. was healthy last year, Wilson’s target share was much smaller, and that makes him dependent on volume, game script, and touchdowns to pay off at his draft cost. He can absolutely deliver usable weeks, but he looks more like a reliable flex option than a true weekly lineup anchor if Arizona’s passing game spreads the ball around.

For 2026, Wilson makes sense as a player to target when you want stability without paying for a breakout price. If Harrison misses time again or the Cardinals lean more heavily on Wilson near the core of the formation, he could beat his ADP and flirt with WR3 numbers. In a normal build, though, he’s best viewed as a high-end bench receiver with enough production history to trust when you need depth.
