The biggest reason fantasy managers are still interested is his touchdown ceiling. Adams scored 14 touchdowns in 2025 and remained a top-10 PPR receiver while averaging strong weekly production when healthy, which shows he can still win matchups even as he gets older. At the same time, several 2026 outlooks warn that a repeat of last season’s touchdown pace is unlikely, so he looks more like a steady starter than a locked-in elite WR1.

Health is the main thing to watch. Adams dealt with a late-season hamstring issue in 2025 that kept him out for the Rams’ final three regular-season games, but the expectation was that he would return for the playoffs, which is reassuring heading into 2026. Even so, that injury history adds a little volatility, especially if Los Angeles manages him more carefully during the season.

For fantasy drafts, Adams makes sense as a confident WR2 who can spike into WR1 weeks when the Rams are attacking the red zone heavily. He is not the same target monster he was in his prime, but the combination of role, quarterback play, and touchdown potential keeps him firmly on the radar as a player worth drafting in the middle rounds rather than chasing as a true star.
